Members come first at Integris Credit Union. The fundamental operating principles of credit unions is democratic ownership: every member has at least one share, but no more than one, and vote in the decision making process. All members, therefore are equal owners, regardless of the size of their respective credit union deposits. Every member has the right to seek election to the Board of Directors.
Membership entitles you to vote for the directors of your choice in the annual Board of Directors elections. Each member has a say in how Integris Credit Union is run by exercising their right as a member to vote. The Board of Directors is accountable to the members, while at all times focusing on the best interests of the Credit Union and attaining our corporate goals and objectives. All seven branches of our Credit Union are committed to supporting our communities in the areas of education, sports, arts/cultural, charitable and other mainstream local events.
Your funds are safe in Integris Credit Union. Together with provincial government regulators, specialized deposit insurance organizations work to ensure that credit unions are among the soundest of the country's financial institutions.
