30 Day Notice to Account & Service Fee Changes – Introducing Business Account eTransfers!
Annually, we review our account packages and fees in comparison to the market and competitors and make adjustments accordingly. This years review produced a lot of conversation about our account names (we heard you – they’re outdated!) and so, after surveys with members, surveys with staff, and a whole lot of marketing research, we’re very excited to share that the changes coming include updating our account names, new eTransfers allowances in our business packages, as well as some adjustments to miscellaneous fees that haven’t been adjusted in quite a while. Within our account statements, we are required to give 30 days notice and so all changes will be effective February 1st, 2025.
What’s Changing?
All retail and business account names will be updated to reflect our Life Out Here brand.
We are including eTransfers (and we’re not increasing the fee) for business account packages and adjusting some miscellaneous fees.

Why are fees increasing?
We are adjusting some fees that haven’t been changed in a long time to better reflect industry pricing and the staff time involved in the work. We are committed to providing great products and services, competitive pricing, and meeting market demands – our new fee changes deliver just that.
What happens with fee income?
When you bank local, you enable us to support and spend here in our region! Banking fee income is invested in our communities, supporting initiatives like school food security programs, seniors programs, regional habitat and species conservation initiatives, arts and culture and socioeconomic inclusion projects through our Community Enrichment Strategy. This income also enables us to support communities like McBride – who lost their only financial institution – by opening our new McBride branch in February.
Personal Account Changes
Please note that there are no fee changes to personal accounts; the only change is the name of the account and all current transaction limits and benefits will remain in place.

Business Account Changes
We value our business members and after reviewing the market, we’re making some adjustments to include eTransfers in the account packages. At this time we have made the decision not to increase the monthly account fee. We really heard you when you said add eTransfers without a fee increase so that’s exactly what we did! Please note that under the new changes, eTransfers cannot be converted to deposit or withdrawal transactions types.
