At Integris Credit Union, we are committed to keeping our members informed and involved in the direction of our organization. In line with that commitment, we want to provide an important update regarding our Annual General Meeting (AGM).

On April 2, 2025, Integris announced in partnership with Coastal Community Credit Union (CCCU) that we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to begin a due diligence process with the intent to explore a potential merger between our two credit unions. This exciting opportunity is part of our shared vision to strengthen cooperative finance in British Columbia and better serve our members and communities.

2024 Financials Still Available

Although our AGM has been postponed, we remain committed to financial transparency. We will be hosting a virtual webinar on May 1, 2025, where we will publicly share and review our audited 2024 consolidated financial statements.

Why Postpone the AGM?

As part of this strategic work, Integris has sought and gained approval from our regulator—the British Columbia Financial Services Authority (BCFSA)—to postpone our upcoming Annual General Meeting. This postponement allows us to focus our efforts on the merger exploration process while ensuring we meet all compliance and reporting requirements in a transparent and timely manner.

What Does This Mean for Director Elections?

In connection with the AGM postponement, the terms of our current Board Directors will be extended, and our Director election is also postponed. This ensures governance continuity as we undertake the detailed due diligence process with CCCU. Our leadership remains fully engaged in stewarding this important potential transition and continuing to represent our members’ best interests.
