Banking System Update Planned

We are planning on updating our banking system – subject to board/Executive leadership approval in early April – from April 17th at 6pm through to April 21st, 2025. The purpose of this update is to improve our ability to meet your needs, innovate, and grow. Much like an update to a mobile device, it is time to update our banking system. Our planned update will not change how you choose to bank, and our goal is for members to experience as minimal impact as possible during this period.

Over the duration of the Easter Long Weekend, pending a successful go-no-go decision, there may be some banking access interruptions.

During the update, you will be able to:

  • Make withdrawals at ATMs
  • Make deposits at ATMs with balances updated when the update is complete
  • Pay for purchases with your MemberCard Debit Card
  • Note Mastercard services will remain uninterrupted

During the update, you will not be able to:

  • Check your account balance
  • Make bill payments including CRA remittances
  • Preauthorized payments, deposits, scheduled bill payments/transfers will be processed once the update is complete
  • Transfer funds including auto deposit INTERAC eTransfer, or depoit eTransfer until after the update weekend on Apr 22
  • Use online banking or the mobile app
  • Do any transactions in-the branch or over the phone

To help avoid any service disruptions, complete in-branch banking prior to the Easter Long Weekend for cash withdrawals, deposits, currency exchange, wire transfers, official cheques, etc. If you have a future dated bill payment scheduled during this period, the payment date must be changed or it will not be processed. To avoid any disruptions, please reschedule your bill payments (including CRA remittances) and transfers before or after the update.  

Our banking system update will have all the same functionality and features as our existing system, products and services. Our updated system will provide us with innovative opportunities to add new features and enhanced services, better serving you in the future. 

While some services may be temporarily unavailable, our staff are working to ensure as minimal impact as possible to members. There is no action required from you — our project team will handle everything. We anticipate a seamless update to our system and thank you for your patience.
