We are seeking nominations of qualified candidates to represent our membership and run for election to our Board of Directors.

Ensuring that Integris has a well-rounded and effective Board of Directors is important, as they play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction and long term prosperity of Integris. Interested in becoming a Director for Integris?

Nomination packages are available online, or in-branch from January 4th, 2025 to January 31st, 2025.

Commitment

Directors spend approximately 10-20 hours per month on credit union business that may include board and committee meetings, conferences, regional meetings, director education, planning meetings, in addition to time spent reviewing minutes, meeting materials, current affairs, and market information. Directors are remunerated with an annual honorarium; meeting stipends and other expenses are reimbursed.

2025 Board of Director Positions

There are three Director seats up for election in 2025, three 3-year terms. One incumbent will be seeking re-election.

Qualifications

To qualify for nomination, an individual must:

  • Be at least 19 years of age.
  • Be a member in good standing for at least 12 months prior to the close of the nomination period.
  • Not be an employee, officer, or director of a bank, trust company, association, deposit-taking institution, lending institution, or credit union (including not being an employee of Integris in the last three years).
  • Not be an affiliate of Integris or the spouse, child, or step-child of a paid employee of Integris or an Integris affiliate.
  • Meet all regulatory checks and requirements.

Responsibilities & Required Skills

Directors are expected to bring a broad range of knowledge, skills and experience to the Board of Directors.
Some of those could include:

  • Strategic Thinking
  • Cooperative Mindedness
  • Community Endorsement
  • Complex Financial Knowledge

Other Skills to enhance the Board:

  • Financial Industry (i.e. Credit / Lending)
  • Insurance
  • Wealth Management/Financial Planning
  • Information Technology

Voting

At Integris, if a Board of Directors Election takes place in 2025, to be eligible to vote, a person must be a member over 19 years of age and in good standing. Voting will commence April 2 – 16, 2025. Election results April 17. The election will be conducted by voting online or in person at any of our eight branches. Further information on this process to be released in 2025 if applicable.
