Integris has best year ever in 2014!

We had the great year in 2014!

“Integris donations save lives,” said Ian Leitch, President of the Prince George Search and Rescue Society. Leitch left the gathering of almost 300 Integris members and guests spellbound during the Integris Annual General Meeting on Wednesday May 13th, 2015 at the UNBC Canfor Theatre. His comments were followed by an eruption of applause and cheers.

Upon arrival, Integris members and guests were welcomed to the Traditional Territory of the Lheidli T’enneh by Elder Edith Frederick and the Khas’tan drummers. In his opening address to the Membership, David Bird, President & CEO said: “I am honoured to lead such an incredible organization. The Integris staff continue to amaze me with their passion for our Members, our communities and our region! The results in 2014 show that our Members are embracing Integris as their financial institution of choice!”

Beyond kudos from community partners, the AGM also provided business members the opportunity to testify to Integris’ role in their success. Laura Sapergia from Home Sweet Home Grocery in Prince George and Jerry Van Haldren from All West Crane & Rigging in Quesnel shared stories that captured Integris’ role in their growth and success. These businesses have a profound economic impact in the region; Integris is pleased to be part of their story.

Along with Leitch, Sapergia and Van Halderen were many others giving praise to Integris for enriching our communities, including Tim Bennett from Big Brothers Big Sisters Prince George, Erin Reynolds from the Canadian Cancer Society and Cops for Cancer Tour de North, Peter Thompson from Two Rivers Gallery, and Jeremy Stewart from the Prince George Symphony Orchestra to name a few.

Integris is committed to enhancing the financial well-being of its members, staff and communities. As a cooperative organization we enhance the financial well-being of their members, staff and communities by sharing their profits with them.

In 2014, Integris’ invested 25% of our net income – $362,575 – our communities, enriching the region and the 40+ causes that we supported. Integris staff also gave 4,162 hours of their own time volunteering for many causes the region supports.

Last year the Integris Shares paid out $381K in dividends to the members. With $52.6M in deposit growth, $67.6M in loan growth, $1.92M in Insurance Revenue and a growth of $18.1M in Assets Under Administration with our Financial Planning division, Integris had the best year ever in 2014.
