We would like to inform you that an incompatibility issue between IBM Security Trusteer Rapport and Symantec Norton Security Premium has been identified.
You may receive an alert when attempting to install Symantec’s Norton Security Premium while Trusteer Rapport is installed. The alert will inform you that the two products are incompatible and suggest to uninstall Rapport.
Symantec has confirmed that the two products are fully compatible and mentioned that the alert may be ignored. It is not necessary to uninstall Rapport in order to install and successfully use Norton Security Premium.
Symantec are working on removing the alert, however, the message will continue to appear until the next release of Norton Security Premium, which is scheduled for September 2016.
