We are seeking nominations of qualified candidates to represent our membership and run for election to our Board of Directors.

Our Board of Directors ensures the long-term success of Integris. They help us, and our subsidiaries, plan for the future and move toward established goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

We have reviewed our current board members, identified competencies that we need from new directors, and from this we have created a Desired Candidate Profile.

For 2018, the Board of Directors is looking for candidates with skills and background in the following key areas:

  • Technology- experience using technology in operations and has led large technology projects like a systems upgrade
  • Treasury Management – experience in treasury and asset/liability management
  • Wealth Management – exceptional knowledge and/or previous experience of financial planning and insurance products and services

Candidates who meet the Desired Candidate Profile and have a successful interview with our Nominations and Elections Committee will be recommended to our membership in our election voting materials.

Background Skills and Qualifications

Other background skills and qualifications that are valuable to this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Financial – the knowledge and skills to interpret complex and detailed financial statements, and to assess business performance
  • General – member of a credit union for some time, a commitment to self-development through ongoing education, and active involvement in community and service clubs

2018 Board of Directors Election


In order to be eligible to vote in this election a person must be a member (other than a junior member – those under 19 years of age) in good standing 90 days prior to the first day of balloting.

Voting will commence on March 19th and end on March 24th, 2018. The election will be conducted by voting online or in person at any of our seven branches. Members wishing to vote by mail must submit a written request. This request must be received by the Returning Officer at our Corporate office before 12:00 noon on Friday, March 17th, 2018.
