Revamping Our Annual Calendar Contest!

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news with our incredible community! At Integris Credit Union, we believe in celebrating the beauty of our surroundings, the diversity of our community, and the talents of our members. That’s why we’ve decided to shake things up and take our annual community photo calendar contest to a whole new level!

Our calendar contest, a cherished tradition that captures the essence of our community, is undergoing a transformation to make it even more engaging and inclusive. We believe that these changes will not only breathe new life into the contest but also provide our members with more opportunities to showcase their creativity.

What’s Changing?

Year-Round Image Intakes

Instead of a one-month window for submissions, we’re introducing year-round intakes! This means you’ll have more chances throughout the year to share your incredible photos with us. Whether it’s the blooming flowers of spring, the warmth of summer, the vibrant colors of fall, or the serene beauty of winter, every season offers unique opportunities to capture the magic of our community.

How to Participate

Social Media

From time to time, we will share some of our staff’s favorite images on our Facebook page. We would love to hear your thoughts and opinions about them. To help us create a calendar that truly represents the diversity and beauty of our community, we may use interactive polls for you to vote for the images that resonate with you.

Monthly/ Quarterly Photo Prompts

Keep an eye on our social media channels for year-round intake posts. These posts will inspire you to capture the spirit of our community based on different themes. Share your photos as attachments electronically to marketing@integriscu.ca, using ‘Photo Calendar Contest’ in the Subject Line. Please include your full name, phone number, and location with each entry. The minimum photo submission size is 2000 x 1550 pixels.

Submission Guidelines

Requirements:

• High resolution images (minimum 2000 x 1550 px)
• Photos captured within the regions Integris serves
• Candid images of people participating in year-round activities or hobbies (eg. Boating, Ice Hockey, Hiking, Skiing)

Please avoid:

• Group or staged shots of people posing for the camera
• Over-edited photos or photos that have filters applied
• Imagery of alcohol or brands (Coca Cola cans, etc)

Contest Rules:

• By entering, you agree to abide by all contest rules.
• The contest is open to all Integris Credit Union members including employees, directors, and their families.
• Submitting members must own the rights to their submitted photographs.
• Photographs must be horizontal in format.
• Each member may enter up to three photos in the contest.
• Entries will be judged by a committee of Integris Credit Union staff on image composition and quality, as well as how it depicts our region. The committee’s decision will be final.
• By entering, you grant Integris Credit Union permission to use photographs in publication or promotion as it relates to Credit Union business. Photographers will retain intellectual ownership and copyright of submitted photos and photo credit will be given where applicable.
