13 Places to RV this Summer

Subject Matter Experts: Cathy Simon, Roberta Everett, Lesley Sarrazin, Katie McCullough, Joanne Tkachyk, Alexis Jefferies

In an increasingly fun deprived world, we have to find new *safe* ways to get the summer we deserve. So we’re asking – have you ever considered yourself a recreational vehicle (RV) person? We’re talking motorhome. We’re talking travel trailer, fifth wheel, converted van life, tiny homes on wheels. It seems there’s an RV for whatever lifestyle you’re looking for and we’ve got the deats on purchasing, insuring, and living your best RV life.

Financing for Life Out Here…

When it comes to buying a recreational vehicle, you should definitely look further than the rate the dealership offers you. There are so many different financing options designed to give you the flexibility you need in your budget. Whether it’s the payment schedule (monthly, biweekly, weekly), or the length of the term (5 years, 10 years, 15 years), we can work with you to help you reach your financial goals. Our lending team is here to help answer any questions you have – we’ve seen it all when it comes to financing – and make that dream purchase a reality.

Speak with one of our lenders today about a new or used RV purchase or use our online loan application.

Insure your RV and hit the road!

Did you know that – in addition to doing your banking with us – you can insure everything with our insurance team? Whether it’s your home, your vehicle, quad, ATV, motor home, fifth wheel, travel trailer, etc. (you get the point), our insurance team can insure, renew, or provide a quote helping protect your assets. We’ve also got private insurance options to choose from, helping you get the very best rate. When it comes to insuring an RV, in addition to knowing how long you want to insure the RV, there’s a couple additional things you’ll need to know:

  • Year
  • Make
  • Model
  • Length
  • Serial #
  • Declared value

Our insurance team also shared some great facts about RV insurance:

  • Private companies can provide replacement cost up on RVs up to 10 years old.
  • If you live in your RV, you will need to declare this to be properly insured.
  • Living quarters horse trailers can be insured on private RV policies.
  • You can insure private for a whole year and just put your ICBC insurance in place while you are on the road.
  • The ICBC website has a lot of information on towing recreational trailers that is a good idea to review before traveling.

Our team of experts is here for you as you embark on your RV journey. Come into our office or call, text or email us and we can do both your ICBC transaction and Private insurance for you with limited contact.

Have fun, but don’t forget to follow the Public Health Orders.

We’ve featured lakes across Integris Country, hopefully inspiring you to live your best Life Out Here this summer. That being said, be sure to check for provincial health orders and travel restrictions before you travel this summer.
