Integris Wins Big at National Marketing Awards

Prince George, BC – The Marketing Association for Credit Unions (MACU) recognizes and celebrates Achievements in Marketing at an annual national conference – the most recent being May 30, 2016. The Achievement in Marketing Awards celebrates marketing and communications campaigns created by credit unions, cooperatives and suppliers to the industry and Integris Credit Union took home top honours in six award categories.

“There are two types of MACU awards – AIMs and AIMEs,” says Mandy DuBois, Marketing Manager for Integris Credit Union.

In order to be awarded with an AIM (Achievement in Marketing), an entry must score a minimum of 70 points, with the highest scoring entry winning a category award. To be awarded an AIME (Achievement in Marketing Excellence), an entry must receive a score of 85 points or higher. Integris received six accolades in total, three of which were AIME’s.

“We could not be happier,” remarks DuBois. “These awards are recognition not only for our marketing/communications team – but for all Integris staff as we are ALL IN for our members, our communities and each other.  We share this recognition with all who choose Integris given our positive impact in communities throughout North Central BC!” says DuBois.

Integris received awards for the following categories:

  • AIME – PR Event – Integris Winter Lounge/Canada Winter Games
  • AIM – Community Event – Support Your Girls (Quesnel)
  • AIME – Image Enhancement – Integris Re-Brand

“Every year Integris enriches our communities through partnerships and philanthropy,” says Dan Wingham, Manager of Partnerships & Business Development. “In 2015, over $434,000 went back to Members in the form of dividends (shared profit) and over $281,000 went back to communities through impact investing.  This combined figure of over $716,000 is Integris profit that stays here enriching the region as opposed to leaking out to big cities and corner offices back east. As we grow our business, we grow our local impact; our marketing efforts are extremely important to our communities. We are delighted to share these accolades with those we serve – members, staff and communities,” concludes Wingham.
