Member Responsibilities

(a) Review account statements and transactions regularly, including electronic statements, and electronic transaction records of the account within the 30-day statement cycle and notify Integris immediately of any errors, irregularities, omissions, or unauthorized transactions of any type.

(b) Notify Integris promptly of any lost or stolen card, compromised PIN, compromised log in credentials and unauthorized account access or activity to our Member Experience Centre at 250-612-3456, Lost/Stolen Card at 1-866-758-5678 or use the feature ‘Contact Us’ on the Mobile App.

(c) Protect the confidentiality, and never reveal the PIN, PAC, or security answers to any other person, family, or party.

(d) Create strong online banking passwords and update them regularly.

(e) Implement Member Direct security alerts to alert of potential unauthorized activity: New payee added, Online Banking Account Lock-Out, and Online Personal Access code (PAC) change.

(f) Secure devices: Do not permit direct or remote access to any persons to any electronic devices. Do not use public computers or unprotected WiFi to access Integris banking app or Online banking.

(g) Ensure your mobile device is password protected and software is up to date.

(h) Ensure proper protection of sensitive banking information and records, and disposal of such records is done in a safe and secure manner.

(i) Cooperate in any investigation to be entitled to recover any direct losses.

(j) Arm computers with firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware programs from trusted suppliers.

(k) Abide and comply with all laws and procedures of the Proceeds of Crime Legislation.

The member is liable for all fraudulent or worthless deposits made into the account. The member will be bound by and responsible for any use of the PAC, PIN, or password by a member of their household as per the Personal or Business Contract.

If a member suspects or becomes aware that their member debit card is lost or stolen or that the PIN has been made assessable to another person (family member or other), the member will notify Integris immediately, in person or by telephone. Failure to notify may result in non-reimbursement of a loss.

Always use a strong security question that cannot be easily guessed or found and make sure it is shared via a safe channel. Members must keep the email money transfer security answer confidential and not disclosed to anyone but the intended recipient. The first line of defense against email e-transfer interception is to register for email auto deposit. Integris is not liable for any losses or damages incurred because of a person other than the intended recipient guessing or obtaining the email money transfer answer.

Integris reserves the right to cancel a transaction if there is reason to believe a mistake has occurred or that the transaction is a product of unlawful or fraudulent activity.

Be aware of the risks of unsolicited email, telephone calls, and text message transmissions from persons purporting to be representatives of Integris. Do not respond to unsolicited communications and only communicate with the Financial Institution through published contact information.

If there’s been inappropriate activity in the account or the member Access Card has been lost or compromised, members need to notify us immediately. We require full cooperation to resolve the problem.

Our reimbursement policy is in place to stand behind the quality and safety of our Online and Mobile banking systems. It is not there to protect against all risks of fraud. Members have an obligation to take reasonable steps to protect their interests, like protecting access to their devices and sensitive banking information. Members must be aware of and review the Direct Services Agreement carefully to understand what risks are allocated to them, the risks that are covered by our reimbursement policy, and the responsibilities that they must fulfil to get the full benefit of our reimbursement policy.
